The Mushroom Guys ("we", "us") operates themushroomguys.com.au. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how it's handled, consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect. When you order, create an account, or sign up to our emails: your name, delivery address, email, phone number, order history, and communications with us. Payment details are processed by Shopify's certified payment providers — we never see or store your full card number.

How we use it. To fulfil and deliver orders; to respond to you; to send order and delivery notifications; to send marketing emails if you've opted in (you can unsubscribe with one click in any email, any time); to understand how our site is used so we can improve it.

Who we share it with. Only the services that make your order work: Shopify (our store platform), payment processors, delivery providers (including Australia Post and our own local delivery drivers), our email platform (Klaviyo), and website analytics tools. We never sell your personal information, full stop.

Cookies. Our site uses cookies for the shopping cart, login sessions, and analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; the cart needs them to function.

Security. Your data is held within Shopify's infrastructure, which maintains industry-standard security certifications. No internet transmission is perfectly secure, but we don't hold your data anywhere less protected than the platform itself.

Access, correction & deletion. Email contact@themushroomguys.com.au to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We'll action requests within 30 days.

Complaints. If you believe we've mishandled your information, contact us first and we'll work to resolve it. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes. We'll post any updates to this policy on this page with a revised date.
